Wrinkle Relaxers

Restylane®

Some cultures see wrinkles as a reflection of the wisdom and life experiences that accompany aging. But many people are not so happy about looking older and would rather their faces reflect the youthful vitality they feel (or would like to feel).

Fortunately, getting older doesn’t have to be defined by permanent facial wrinkles and lines. With Restylane, you can revitalize your appearance to see a more youthful you looking back in the mirror.

What is Restylane?

What Is Restylane®?

Restylane is an FDA-approved hyaluronic acid filler designed to add volume to your skin in the mouth area, cheeks, chin, jawline and hands. Over time, our skin loses hyaluronic acid (as well as collagen and elastin), which results in volume loss, fine lines and wrinkles. Restylane replaces your skin’s natural hyaluronic acid to restore this volume and provide structural support for smoother skin.

Natural and Long-Lasting Results With XpresHAn Technology™

Restylane is manufactured with XpresHAn Technology™, a process that cross-links the hyaluronic acid in this gel formula. Cross-linking enables Restylane to break down more slowly than naturally occurring hyaluronic acid would, even in areas with a lot of repetitive movement like the mouth. It also allows Restylane to produce natural-looking results by seamlessly integrating into your tissues and moving naturally. So when you make a facial expression after Restylane treatment, your facial muscles and skin will still move like they did before, preserving a naturally youthful appearance.

Who Is a Good Candidate for Restylane®?

Restylane is an effective treatment option for healthy patients over 21 years old looking to reverse volume loss that contributes to wrinkles, fine lines and undefined facial features. Candidates should not have any sores, acne, rashes or hives in the treatment area. If you develop any of these, you should wait to undergo Restylane injections until they resolve.

Who Is Not a Good Candidate for Restylane®?

If you have severe allergies or are allergic to lidocaine or the bacterial proteins used to make hyaluronic acid, Restylane may not be right for you. You may also not be a candidate for Restylane if you have a bleeding disorder, are prone to significant bleeding, or are pregnant or breastfeeding.

At Bespoke RX, we offer four types of Restylane fillers, each designed to address specific concerns.

RESTYLANE® REFYNE

Restylane Refyne corrects mild to moderate wrinkles in areas of your face with frequent movement, such as around the mouth. The injections are administered in the mid-to-superficial facial tissue to support the skin and smooth these high-movement areas.

In a clinical study, Restylane Refyne has been shown to help maintain natural facial expressions and movement in patients.

Restylane® Refyne Can Treat the Following:

  • “Laugh/smile lines” (nasolabial folds)
  • “Marionette lines” (lines extending downward from the corners of your mouth)
  • “oral rhytids”  (the lines on the upper lip)

This injectable dermal filler can provide smoother skin for up to 12 months.

RESTYLANE® DEFYNE

Restylane Defyne is administered in the mid-to-deep facial tissue to address moderate to severe wrinkles and folds. This formulation can better correct deeper lines and wrinkles. Restylane Defyne can also be used for chin and/or jaw augmentation and to smooth indentations in these areas. Injections in the middle layer of skin (the dermis) can increase the projection of the chin and jawline for more balanced, stronger-looking lower facial features.

Restylane Defyne is flexible enough to achieve these results while still allowing for a natural appearance and movements.

Restylane® Defyne Can Treat the Following:

  • Deep “laugh/smile lines” (nasolabial folds
  • Deep “marionette lines”
  • An uneven or undefined jawline
  • A receding chin

RESTYLANE® KYSSE

Many people are born with naturally small or thin lips and wish for a fuller pout, while others want to restore their lips when they become thin and undefined with age. Fine lines and wrinkles around the lips are other common issues that can develop as a result of natural aging. Habits like smoking, biting your lips and even drinking out of straws can also contribute to lip lines.

Restylane Kysse is made of smaller molecules than other Restylane formulations, which makes it ideal for filling delicate areas like the lips and around the mouth. It can provide lip augmentation and smooth wrinkles on and around the lips. The cross-linked hyaluronic acid gel of Restylane Kysse allows you to move your lips while keeping them soft and flexible.

Restylane® Kysse Can Treat the Following:

  • “Smoker’s lines” (fine vertical lines above the lips)
  • “Lipstick lines” (vertical wrinkles on the skin of the lips)
  • Thin lips
  • Undefined lips

Which Restylane® Filler Is Right for Me?

At your consultation, we will evaluate your unique facial anatomy, specific concerns, medical history and any previous treatments to determine the ideal Restylane filler for your needs. In some cases, we recommend combining various Restylane types or using Restylane with another dermal filler like Revanesse Versa.

At Bespoke RX, we do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to facial rejuvenation, and we will develop a personalized treatment plan for your goals.
