Bringing out your natural beauty

Aging is a natural process that everyone goes through. It can be exciting getting older. You become wiser, go through life’s experiences and grow as an individual. However, getting older can also come with a bit of a drawback. The natural aging process can affect the way you look. One of the reasons for this is that your collagen production, a vital protein that keeps your skin taut, starts to decline. As early as your 30’s, your collagen production will begin to reduce as much as one percent a year. The result is lines and wrinkles defining your face.

While getting older can be exciting, feeling and looking old doesn’t feel the same exactly. Getting physically older can be detrimental to an individual’s sense of self and potentially affect their self-esteem. Thankfully, it is possible to improve signs of age by undergoing a dermal filler treatment, creating a more youthful image.

Dermal fillers are injectable treatments that help add volume where volume loss is present and correct signs of age such as lines and wrinkles. If you are a resident of the Tampa, FL, region and are ready to improve your beauty by utilizing a dermal filler treatment, please schedule a consultation with Bespoke Rx or call us at (813) 203-6196. Your provider will create a customized dermal filler treatment plan based on your unique concerns.

What are Dermal Fillers?

What are Dermal Fillers?

Dermal fillers are injectables that help add volume to create more youthful contours in the face and correct lines and wrinkles. Dermal fillers help correct wrinkles that are known as static wrinkles. Static wrinkles are associated with the natural aging process. Once the body’s natural production of collagen declines and the forces of gravity take a toll on the structural integrity of your skin, static wrinkles start to become more apparent.

Dermal fillers commonly consist of hyaluronic acid, a substance your body naturally produces that helps maintain skin firmness and hydration. When a dermal filler is injected, the hyaluronic acid attracts water to hydrate your skin from within. The injectable is placed strategically in the face where improvement is necessary.

While dermal fillers are commonly utilized to address signs of aging, they are also often used to treat other cosmetic issues, such as thin lips and an uneven jawline.

The Dermal Filler treatment

Your provider at Bespoke Rx will decide which dermal filler best suits your needs, what the appropriate sites for injection would be and how many injections of the chosen dermal filler should be utilized. Dermal filler injection treatments last for approximately 15 to 60 minutes, depending on how many areas are being treated and the number of syringes utilized.

Your dermal filler treatment will consist of your provider injecting the appropriate filler where wrinkles and hollows are noticeable. All fillers offered at Bespoke Rx consist of lidocaine, a numbing agent, which will help reduce any discomfort. A topical anesthetic may also be applied prior to injection if desired. After your provider has injected enough of your chosen dermal filler, she may apply an ice pack to help reduce swelling and discomfort.

Your dermal filler results will be noticeable immediately after treatment. However, it will take some time for your final results to be realized. It will take approximately two weeks for your final results to be apparent, as swelling after your dermal filler treatment subsides. Dermal filler results last for a varying amount of time. Depending on which one you use, your results can last for approximately six months to one year.

FAQS

What are Fillers?

At Bespoke Rx, all dermal fillers are made of Hyaluronic acid (HA). HA is a substance that is naturally found in the body. As we age, our levels of hyaluronic acid decrease and our fat pads within our facial structures shrink and change, making our skin prone to developing signs of age. Dermal fillers can help to add facial volume, as well as decrease fine lines. We offer a variety of fillers to meet your aesthetic goals.

How long do Neuromodulators and Fillers last?

Neuromodulators (Wrinkle Relaxers) typically last 3-4 months. Fillers vary greatly depending on product and placement.

Is there anything I should do before or after my appointment?

Because we have blood vessels throughout our face, avoiding bruising cannot be guaranteed. However, the following can help you to minimize your risk of bruising and swelling. For 72 hours before and after treatment avoid NSAIDs, aspirin, fish oil, vitamin E, St. John's wart, and alcohol. Do NOT stop taking prescription blood thinners. Avoid exercise 24 hours before and after treatment.
